The Search for a Chiropractor

A good Chiropractor (the one true to his oath) does not only treat backaches but helps improve overall health. So, how do we differentiate between a good and a bad chiropractor?

SIMPLE: He should stick to the GOLDEN RULE: FIRST DO NO HARM!

MH’s standard for a good chiropractor is really highso far, I found one that satisfies 4 of his guidelines

1. he does not suggest xrays or mri/cat scans (even if I have scoliosis)
2. he does cranials on new born babies and desires to help children (but not at a family rate as MH suggests – I hope he will offer me one after this review :))– oh he do offer 50% off for children below 16 yrs old
3. he sells nothing, does not offer massage
4. he seems to be a Palmer graduate (need to confirm, nevertheless he talks about Palmer)

THESE ARE YOUR GUIDE LINES FROM MH
HE” SELLS NOTHING
“HE” DOES NOT SUGGEST X-RAYS OR MRI/CAT SCANS

“DOESN’T DO MASSAGES, ETC…….

“HE” SHOULD BE GOOD AS A PALMER / THOMSON GRADUATE

AND MOST OF ALL, HE DOES CRANIALS ON NEW BORN BABIES AND DESRES TO HELP CHILDREN, OFTEN HAVING A FAMILY RATE OF ABOUT $70 FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY; CHILDREN UNDER AGE 12 FREE, ETC….

PALMER COLLEGE HAS AN ON LINE DIRECTORY
BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THE MAN IS GOOD, JUST THAT HE SHOULD BE GOOD.

I DROPPED MY MD AT AGE 19 BECAUSE THEY SAID I HAD TERMINAL ARTRITIS OF THE BACK AND WOULD BE WALKING BENT OVER AND 2 CANES LIKE MY GREAT UNCLE….THEY EVEN TOOK X-RAYS TO PROVE THEIR GARBAGE……I WENT TO A CHIROPRACTOR FOR $9 AND HE LAUGHED AND FIXED MY HIPS IN 15 MINUTES…..I HAVE RETURNED TO THAT SAME CHIROPRACTOR FOR 33 YEARS AND NEVER NEEDED A MD SINCE.

A GOOD CHIROPRACTOR DOES NOT KEEP YOU COMING BACK
A GOOD ONE DESIRES TO TREAT YOUR CHILDREN FOR FREE AS PART OF THE ADULT TREATMENT.

My chiropractor watched his dad all his childhood years; who manipiulated all the joints down to the toes and he chose to be one. Palmer was the original, since then all types of quackery types calling them selves chiropractors have appeared; doing everything from bending you like a prestel to just manipulating 1 vertabra with the expectations they all will line up.

The really bad ones have x ray machines right in their office and sell anything and everything to make a buck $.

My chiropractor never married and has spent their entire life as a chiropractor and he goes to all the seminars, updates, reads and reads……and after 35+ years, he only suggest a Palmer/Thompson Chiropractor and I AGREE, because my factory insurance paid for the quack chiropractors and I tried them and everyone of them was bad, messed me up and I had to return to my chiropractor that lives about 2o miles away…..

ALSO, because I have sent well over 600+ people to my chiropractor over the past 30+ years, including people who have also worked many years for chiropractors have went to my chiropractor to learn that the past 20 years they spent with what they thought was the “best” chiropractor, really knew nothing and had never really helped anyone.

Quote Dr. Theo of Light Chiropractic Singapore
Unfortunately, most Chiropractors have become disconnected from their profession’s history, possibly because they did not hear about it in school, were over-educated or have simply lost touch with the roots of the beautiful profession which inspired them to touch lives. As a fundamentalist Chiropractor, I feel it is important to appreciate that the fathers of our profession struggled to keep it alive so that people like myself have an opportunity to serve. I wish to carry their dream of creating a healthy world that empowers people’s lives instead of suppressing them. I encourage my fellow colleagues out there to live that dream as well. Those who struggled to legitimize chiropractic care did not sit in jail so we can just treat back pain or provide a minimal scope of care to our patients.
